Half-day First Aid Annual Refresher Course
For First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders
Although it is not mandatory, the HSE strongly recommend that annual refresher courses are delivered to first aiders and emergency first aiders in order to keep them knowledgeable in the event of an emergency and their skills up-to-date
The qualification period for both groups of First Aiders is 3-years. It was felt that this period was too long without any additional training.
Duration
This course will last a minimum of 3 hours, consisting of theocratical and practical activities

Assessment
On-going assessments will be made by the instructor and feedback throughout. A good level of English speaking and writing will be required when attending this course.
Certification
A certificate of attendance will be awarded
