Level 3 Paediatric First Aid

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care.
It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and infants, who wish to gain a nationally accredited Level 3 Award.
This two-day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days and complete the two units of accreditation.
Course Duration
This course runs over a minimum of 12 hours making up these two units consisting of theoretical and practical work. Our blended learning option is the most popular meaning only one day face-to-face training and 6 hours e-learning which can be completed at the learners own pace. Alternatively two days face-to-face training can also be arranged at no additional cost.

Assessment
On-going assessments will be made by the instructor in respect of the student’s practical skills, there will also be a test paper containing a mixture of multiple choice, open and closed questions. Reasonable adjustments can be made for those that need assistance with reading or writing but a good level of English speaking and writing will be required when attending this course.
Certification
This qualification lasts for 3 years. To renew the qualification, learners will need to attend another Level 3 2 day Paediatric course before their qualification expires.
